held at The 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich

P008/11 ADJOURNMENT OF MEETING
Following Public Questions, the Chairman adjourned the meeting to return to the presentation, from Dr Gary Sweeney, regarding GP Commissioning.
P009/11 MEETING RECOMMENCED
The Chairman reopened the meeting at 6.55pm.
P010/11 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies were received from Councillors Flavell and Todd.

P012/11 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on 8th June 2011 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P013/11 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 3rd June, 10th June and 17th June.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P014/11 MINI ROUNDABOUT – AMENDED PLANS 11/00117/FUL
Members discussed the amended plans for a proposed new 3-arm roundabout at the junction of Main Road south west of existing mini roundabout at the junction of Laurel Avenue. Concerns were raised about a) the potential hazard of a double roundabout, b) the potential loss of protected land and c) that HTC are being asked to possibly ‘ok’ the access/egress without knowing what’s going to be accessed.
RESOLVED: To write to the Case Officer to ask that nothing further happens with this application until it becomes clearer what is planned for the site to which access will be required.
P015/11 NEW HALL LOW ROAD – APPEAL 10/01432/FUL
Members discussed the appeal lodged in relation to this application and it was mentioned that this fell outside of the Housing settlement limits.
RESOLVED: To note.
P016/11 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich on 20th July 2011 at 6.30pm.
The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.55 pm
