P116/08 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Payne and
Morrison
P117/08 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
Councillors McLeod and J Brown declared they are members of Tendring District Council’s Development and Control Committee. Councillors Henderson and J Brown declared a prejudicial interest and Councillors Burke, Rutson and Colbourne a personal interest in the items regarding 121-123 High Street Dovercourt. Councillor Tyrer declared a personal interest in application 09/00142/TPO.
P118/08 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 18th February 2009 (previously circulated) be approved by the Chairman and signed as a true record.
P119/08 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
Councillors Henderson and J Brown left the meeting for the duration of items regarding 121-123 High Street, Dovercourt. The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 13th February, 20th February and 27th February 2009.
RESOLVED: that the recommendations of Appendix ‘A’ are submitted to Tendring District Council.
P120/08 ALL SAINTS C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL, DOVERCOURT
Members noted Essex County Council’s application CC/TEN/12/09 New doorway with DDA compliant access ramp and associated all weather canopy, a free standing all weather canopy to the schools main entrance, extension and alteration of the playground areas with a new
drainage system.
P121/08 143 FRONKS ROAD, DOVERCOURT, HARWICH
NOT BUILT IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED PLANS
Reference ‘retention of single story side extension to accommodate utility room, plant room and indoor swimming pool’ – the Committee noted that planning permission has been granted and the incident case has been closed (Tendring District Council).

The next meeting of the Town Planning Committee will be held at 6.30pm on 1st April 2009 at The 1912 Centre, Harwich.
