Harwich Town Council is committed to supporting the Tendring Community Policing Team in tackling crime and anti-social behaviour and has a duty to consider crime and disorder in everything is does.
Under it’s crime prevention powers, the town council part funds, in conjunction with the district council, a Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) to cover the Harwich & Dovercourt area.
The council keeps in contact with our PCSO by way of attendance at meetings and periodic reports.
