Public Question Time:

Dr Rogers asked if the 1912 Centre had a loop system. He felt it would assist those who are hearing impaired. He stressed he would like it noted for the future.

P026/14	DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS Cllr McLeod – TDC Planning & Development Committee Cllr Calver – In relation to planning application 14/00911/LBC. He sits on the Executive Committee of the Harwich Society
P027/14	MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on Wednesday 9th July 2014 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P028/14	MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES MIN P22/14 – 14/00789/ADV – Projecting Sign, The Goodlife Guesthouse. Members noted the application had been withdrawn on 7th July.Cllr Flavell said the sign is still there and illuminated at night and very brightly. Cllr McLeod confirmed it’s pending a revised application. It was felt that enforcement action should be taken. RESOLVED: Ask TDC to investigate enforcement action.
P029/14	PLANNING APPLICATIONS The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 11th July, 18th July and 25th July. RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P030/14	MATTERS RECEIVED IN THE POST OR INFORMATION RAISED BY Members noted amended plans for application 14/00704/FUL – Proposed Outbuilding, 10 Seafield Road, Dovercourt and decided not to submit further comments. Members noted the withdrawal of appliction14/00733/OUT – SATO UK Ltd. The Clerk reported that both the Environment Agency and Natural England had raised concerns with the application, but all agreed that this was not necessarily the reasons behind the withdrawal.
P031/14	DATE OF NEXT MEETING The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich on Wednesday 20th August 2014 at 6.30pm.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 6.45pm
