Betty Holbrook raised objection to application 12/00302/FUL in relation to the proposals for living arrangements given that local flood assessments state that living accommodation is not permitted on the ground floor.

P101/11 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on 28th March 2012 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P102/11 UNTIDY SITES IN HARWICH AND DOVERCOURT
Clerk updated members on response received following letter to Planning Portfolio Holder to attend a meeting to discuss untidy sites in Harwich and Dovercourt.
RESOLVED: to formally request Cllr Guglielmi attends a meeting of HTC’s Planning Committee, at the earliest opportunity, to discuss issues pertinent to Harwich and Dovercourt.
P103/11 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending
30th March, 5th April and 13th April.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P104/11 PLANNING APPEAL BY SILSON PROPERTIES LTD
An appeal in relation to land at Langley Close, Dovercourt, was discussed and it was RESOLVED: to write to TDC to raise concerns over apparent sewerage problems and ask that if they consider this to be in breach of their building regulations that they include this with any representation they make to the Secretary of State.

The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich, on 9th May 2012 at 6.30pm.
The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.11pm
