Also present: 2 members of the public and 1 members of the press

Betty Holbrook, local resident raised concerns about the lime tree at the back of Lloyds Bank and notified members that the tree had been a problem for many years.

P079/11 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies received from Cllrs O’Neill, I Henderson and J Henderson.

P080/11 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST
Cllr McLeod as member of the TDC Planning Committee.

P081/11 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on 25th January 2012 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

P082/11 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending
20th January, 27th January and 3rd February.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.

P083/11 ITEMS RAISED BY MEMBERS
Cllr McLeod made reference to the improvement work due to be carried out by the
Lifeboat Museum and was pleased to note that work was due to commence on
20th February 2012.

P084/11 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich, on 7th March 2012 at 6.30pm.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 6.50pm

Due to discrepancies on the work to be carried out detailed on the paperwork from TDC and the application form, it was resolved to defer for further consideration after seeking further clarification of what is proposed and to obtain the tree officers’ comments.
