MINUTES of the Meeting of the PLANNING COMMITTEE
held at The 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich on Wednesday 18th May 2011 commencing at 6.30pm
Present: Councillors C Callender, R Callender, Calver, Day, Double, Flavell, I Henderson, J Henderson, King, McLeod, Morrisson, O’ Neill, Thurlow and Todd.

Also present: 5 members of the public and no members of the press
Mrs B Holbrook raised concerns over planning application 10/00591/FUL, which relates to the land adjacent to the Fryatt Hospital, in that the numbers of parking spaces proposed for the planned development are insufficient; and further mentioned that the parking at the hospital is also insufficient which would not help matters.

Councillor McLeod as member of TDC and Councillors R Callender and Day regarding application 11/00378/FUL.
P108/10 Minutes of the Last Meeting
Resolved that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on 19th April 2011 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P109/10 Planning Applications
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 15th April, 22nd April, 29th April and 6th May 2011.
Resolved: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P110/10 Variation Order 99/00030/TPO
Council noted a Formal Variation Order in relation to a Tree Preservation Order
P111/10 Date of Next Meeting
The next Town Planning meeting will be held on 8th June 2011 at venue to be confirmed.
The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.10 pm
