P103/08 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Howlett, Payne, J Brown and McLeod.

P104/08 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
Councillor Rutson declared a personal interest in planning application 09/00003/FUL.

P105/08 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 7th January 2009 (previously circulated) be approved by the Chairman and signed as a true record.

P106/08 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 2nd January, 9th January and 16th January 2009.
RESOLVED: that the recommendations of Appendix ‘A’ are submitted to Tendring District Council.

P107/08 CC/TE/126/08 – CONVERSION OF CARETAKER’S HOUSE, CHASE LANE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Further to minute P94/08, the committee noted that permission to convert into a general school facility has been granted.

P108/08 APPLICATION 08/01634/FUL – 1 MARINE PARADE, DOVERCOURT – ERECTION OF 3 FLATS
Members noted that the Chairman of the Development and Control Committee has decided not to refer the application to Committee.

P109/08 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Town Planning Committee will be held at 6.30pm on 18th February 2009 at The 1912 Centre, Harwich.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 6.52pm.
