P123/08 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence were received from Councillors Morrison,

P124/08 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
Councillors McLeod and J Brown declared they are members of Tendring District Council’s Development and Control Committee.
P125/08 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 11th March 2009 (previously circulated) be approved by the Chairman and signed as a true record.
P126/08 POUND FARM SITE, DOVERCOURT
A member raised concerns regarding the poor condition of the Grade II listed building at Pound Farm and recent reports of a “Cannabis Factory” on the site. RESOLVED: to write to Tendring District Council’s enforcement department and bring to its attention the fact that media reports indicate the owners are not visiting the site and meeting their statutory requirements.
P127/08 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 6th March, 13th March and 20th March 2009.
RESOLVED: that the recommendations of Appendix ‘A’ are submitted to Tendring District Council.
P128/08 CORE STRATEGY DISCUSSION DOCUMENT
Members considered taking part in the consultation and responding to the supplementary questionnaire. RESOLVED: to circulate the questionnaire to all councillors and to hold a special meeting (prior to the end of the consultation period on 1st May 2009) to consider Harwich Town Council’s response.
P129/08 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Town Planning Committee will be held at 6.30pm on 21st April 2009 at Long Meadows Community Centre, Dovercourt.
The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.00pm.
