The community champions local authority fund
THE COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS LOCAL AUTHORITY FUND- Closing date 5pm Monday 29th March 2021
A new funding opportunity from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, has been launched today by Tendring District Council. The ‘Community Champions fund’ is aimed at supporting local groups and organisations, who have been disproportionately impacted by Covid-19.
The Community Champions scheme provides targeted help to those areas and communities facing the greatest challenges. Recognising that local authorities, their partners, and local people are best placed to decide the right approach for their communities, it is designed to respond to the needs locally, to increase resources for both existing and new activities.

A condition of this funding is that the grants must be allocated by 31st March 2021, with applications submitted by 5pm Monday 29th March 2021, for consideration by the panel on Tuesday 30th March 2021.
