Severe Weather Warning
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for rain. This is currently in force and will remain so until midnight tonight.
Throughout this afternoon and into this evening we can expect very localised, slow moving heavy showers with the possibility of thunder.
Harwich and the surrounding areas could miss this altogether but if it does hit, it could be torrential and prolonged .
