Severe Weather Warning
The Met Office has issued a severe weather warning for thunderstorms, effective from 1pm-midnight on Tuesday 20th July. This falls just outside of our area but since these are very localised, there is always a chance it could drift into our area.
There is a likelihood of heavy showers or torrential downpours with frequent lightening leading possibly to flooding of homes and businesses, surface water flooding, travel disruption, lightning strikes and power outages.
