Rewards for Facebook Fans of Princess Theatre

Fans who follow the Princes Theatre on Facebook have been bagging themselves free tickets – and you could do the same.

The Clacton venue, run by Tendring District Council (TDC), frequently runs competitions on its Facebook page to allow potential audience members to win a free night at the theatre.

Over the past year more than 350 tickets have been given away in this way – an average of one ticket almost every day.

As the Spring 2020 season launches, with its first show – The Foundations – happening on Friday, 7 February, what better time to get involved?

Highlights of the season include Milkshake! Monkey’s Musical! during February half term, providing fun for little ones, along with a host of tribute shows, ballet and theatre.

Alex Porter, TDC Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, said following the Princes Theatre on Facebook was a great way to stay up-to-date on the latest show announcements.

“Our theatre-goers always have a real buzz when we reveal new shows or announce cast members, which all helps to build up the atmosphere come curtain-up,” Cllr Porter said.

“Liking the Princes Theatre on Facebook or following them on Twitter and Instagram will not only keep you informed as soon as new things are announced, but you have the chance to win free tickets through our frequent competitions.”

You can follow the venue across social media @PrincesTheatre – you can also visit princestheatre.co.uk to book tickets or call the Box Office on 01255 686633, and stay up to date on shows with the Love Tendring app.
