G027/11 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies received from Cllr O’Neill.

G028/11 DECLARATION OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
None

G029/11 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Guildhall meeting held on 7th November 2011 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

G030/11 COUNCILLOR ROBE
The Clerk confirmed that further to Minute G10/11 the new robe had been delivered and was 42” in length. The Chairman asked if the robe could be tagged as this is made with fake fur and also to compare this against existing robes as there is disagreement about whether some also have fake fur.

G031/11 CRIME PREVENTION PANEL
Proposed dates for meetings of the Crime Prevention Panel were discussed.
RESOLVED: To make it policy to approve free use of the Chamber unless it clashes with Council business when they would be asked to find an alternative date/venue.

G032/11 2012 EXHIBITIONS
Cllr Flavell asked if a topic had been chosen for this year’s exhibition and suggested the 1912 Centre, as the old Fire Station, and 2012 being 100 years of its opening. The Chairman confirmed that an Olympics theme had been chosen.

G033/11 NEXT MEETING OF GUILDHALL COMMITTEE
The next meeting of the Guildhall Committee will be held in the new Municipal Year unless any urgent business required one to be held sooner.
