P001/14 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE

P003/14 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on Wednesday 7th May 2014 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P004/14 MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES
Cllr Flavell informed members that, in relation to the planning application for installing a buoy on Gas House Creek, a wind survey had now been carried out and its findings were that winds would have to be in excess of 95MPH before the buoy would be adversely affected.
P005/14 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 2nd May, 9th May, 16th May and 23rd May.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P006/14 MATTERS RECEIVED IN THE POST OR INFORMATION RAISED BY

  • Members noted an invitation to withdraw representation in respect of refusal of a householder planning application – 13/01423/FUL – Proposed single and two storey extension (following demolition of existing single storey element).
  • Members considered an offer by Cllr Calver to attend a hearing in relation to a licensing application 14/00251/PREMGR to state the case (in light HTC’s previously submitted comments) before members of the Sub-Committee.
  • The Clerk informed members that planning applications 14/00363/FUL – MHA Care Group and 14/00501/FUL – Asda Stores Ltd had received full approval.
P007/14 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich, on Wednesday 18th June 2014 at 6.30pm.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.00pm.
