RESOLVED: That Cllr Thompson be elected as Vice-Chair for the Municipal year 2012/13

F04/12 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Finance and General Purposes meeting held on 16th May 2012 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

F05/12 PUTTING GREENS
The Clerk confirmed that the awaited report from NPS, TDC, was expected this week but that the first invoice, for the period April to June 2012 had already increased from previously agreed.
RESOLVED: to write to David Hall, TDC, to state that there is no agreement with HTC to increase the rent and to cancel the direct debit to prevent further payments.

The Clerk gave an update on progress of the new HTC website.
F07/12 HARWICH MAYFLOWER PROJECT
RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND: to grant £5000 funding from the Economic Development budget
F08/12 ST NICHOLAS WELCOME COMMITTEE
RESOLVED: to grant £150 s137 funding
F09/12 HARWICH INTERNATIONAL SHANTY FESTIVAL
RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND: to grant £750 s145 funding
F10/12 HARWICH & DISTRICT SOCIAL STROKE GROUP
RESOLVED: to grant £500 s137 funding
F11/12 HARWICH RBLBB SATURDAY MORNING MUSIC SCHOOL
RESOLVED TO RECOMMEND: to grant £2500 s137 funding
F12/12 HARWICH SECRET GARDENS
RESOLVED: to conditionally grant £300 in basis that applicant can satisfy Clerk that funds are being paid to a genuine organisation.
F13/12 MILEAGE ALLOWANCE 2012
Members noted the HMRC mileage allowance of 45ppm for the use of private cars on business
