To approve as a correct record the minutes of the Environment & Community meeting held on 8th April 2019 (attached)
5 Matters Arising From the Minutes of the Last Meeting
To discuss and act upon information received following previous actions in relation to the following items:
E55/18 – LHP – Speeding Lorries on the Approach to St Nicholas Roundabout – A meeting is taking place on 1st July with Cllr I Henderson, Tom Eng (Essex Highways) and Dave Blackiston (Harwich & District Community Speed Watch Partnership)
6 Matters Arising From Previous Minutes
To discuss and act upon information received following previous actions in relation to the items listed on the agenda:
E21/18 – Tree planting has been deferred until Autumn 2020.
7 Horticultural Report
To receive a report from the Horticultural Adviser and consider any necessary action
8 Flood Memorial Garden
To consider the formation of a working party to investigate improvements and funding for the Flood Memorial Garden. £189 has been earmarked for future improvements for this area.
9 Emergency Planning
•To undertake a brief review of the plan
•To consider undertaking a test run of the plan
         •To appoint a representative to attend the Parish & Town Council Community
Resilience Forums run by Tendring District Council
10 Winter Salt Bag Scheme
To review information received from Essex County Highways and consider participating in the 2019/20
partnership scheme

•To receive an update from the Clerk and consider any necessary action
•To consider the Estate Supervisers recommendations and costs for securing the Tommies
•To review arrangments for the purchase of plaques
12 Local Pothole Repair Programme
To receive an update from the Clerk and Cllr I Henderson 
13 LHP Panel
To receive an update from Cllr I Henderson and consider any necessary action

•Church Street – Right of Way
•Parkeston Road – Installation of Zebra CrossingLow Road – Review the following and consider any necessary action:
– Speed survey
– LHP’s response
– Harwich & District Community Speed Watch Partnership report
– Information and costs for 30 MPH signs to be placed on wheelie bins
14 Untidy Sites in the Conservation Area and ‘Illuminate Route’ for Mayflower 2020
