3 Minutes of Last Meeting
To approve as a correct record the minutes of the Environment & Community meeting held on 17th September 2019 (attached)
4 Matters Arising From the Minutes of the Last Meeting
      To discuss and act upon information received following previous actions in relation to the
following items:
       E22/19 – Putting Green – TDC have erected temporary wood fencing to protect parts of the
hedging as well as planting new hedging where necessary
E24/19 – There But Not There – Tommie has been reinstated by the Maritime Museum with
additional support brackets and to date there is no damage to the structure
       E26/19 – Low Road – 30 MPH Stickers – Date to be finalised to consult with Low Road
residents
       E28/19 – Emergency Planning – HTC’s plan has been updated and distributed
5 Matters Arising From Previous Minutes
To discuss and act upon information received following previous actions in relation to the items listed on the agenda:
E21/18 – Tree planting has been deferred until autumn 2020
E11/19 – Winter Salt Bag Scheme – Two pallets of additional salt have been delivered to the Mayflower Heritage Centre.  The flyers will be distributed to the traders in the High Street by mid December.
6 Horticultural Report
To receive a report from the Horticultural Adviser and consider any necessary action
7 Flood Memorial Garden
To receive an update from the working party and consider any necessary action
8 Dog Fouling
To consider a response from Cllr Talbot and any subsequent action
9 TDC Proposed Planting in the Parish of Harwich and Dovercourt for 2020
To consider a response from Cllr Talbot and any subsequent action
10 Harwich In Bloom
To review feedback from Harwich Society on this years’ planting and consider any necessary action
11 LHP Panel
To receive an update from Cllr I Henderson and consider any necessary action
•Church Street – Right of way
•Parkeston Road – Installation of zebra crossing
•Low Road – Speed survey
•20s Plenty Signage by local schools
•Speeding Lorries and high pedestrian volume on the approach to St Nicholas
roundaboutTo consider the following proposal for submission to the Local Highways Panel:
•Williamsburg Ave – Sharp blind bend
•High Street by Cliff Park – Speeding vehicles
12 Budget for Municipal Year 2020/21
To review and agree upon the proposed budget for the coming year
