4 Matters Arising From the Minutes
To discuss and act upon information received following previous actions in relation to the
following items:
A10/21 – Bonfire Policy – Posters have been amended and displayed and changes
made to the tenancy agreement
A12/21 – Allotment Checklist/Tenancy Cover Sheet
– created and put in to effect from
end of July 2021
A12/21 – Wild Flowers – Tenancy agreement has been amended and plot holders
notified via the annual newsletter.
5 Matters Arising From Previous Minutes
To discuss and act upon information received following previous actions in relation to the following items:
Redoubt Hedge and Footpath – Finance & General Purposes Committee agreed to enter into negotiations with Tendring District Council about land ownership of all allotment land managed by Harwich Town Council.  TDC has received cabinet approval to start negotiations for the transfer of land.
A52/20 – Tree Liabilities – Work has been completed week commencing
10th September 2021

7 Site Representative Reports
8 Budget Update and Proposed Budget for Municipal Year 2022/23
        To review and consider the committee budget for the coming year

11 Time and Date of Next Meeting
The next meeting of the Allotments Committee will be held at a venue to be agreed, at 7pm, on Thursday 27th January 2022

Pursuant to Sub-Section 2 of Section 1 of the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 the meeting is closed to the press and public for the transaction of the under-mentioned business:•Voluntary Site Representative Position – Boatswains Call Allotment Site
13 Voluntary Site Representative Position
•To note the resignation of Site Representative at Boatswains Call
•To review and consider a letter of interest received for the voluntary position at Boatswains Call Allotment Site
