The Mayor asked for a minute’s silence as a sign of respect for former Councillor and Mayor Steven Henderson who had passed away at the weekend.

P45/13	DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS Cllr McLeod declared a non-pecuniary interest, referring to his position on the Development & Control Committee at TDC
P46/13	MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on Wednesday 18th September 2013 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.
P47/13	MATTERS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES None
P48/13	PLANNING APPLICATIONS The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 20th September, 27th September and 4th October 2013 RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.
P49/13	MATTERS RECEIVED IN THE POST OR INFORMATION RAISED BY MEMBERS Members noted a planning appeal against refusal of a Householder Application 13/00576/FUL. Members noted that there was a further discharge of conditions under 13/01119/DISCON, and which was for information only. The Clerk informed members that, for 13/00857/FUL in relation to the former Borno chemist on Main Road, the application had been withdrawn due to the impending deadline and the Unilateral Agreement not being in place.
P50/13	DATE OF NEXT MEETING The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich, on 30th October 2013 at 6.30pm.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 6.47 pm
