Also present: 7 members of the public and 1 member of the press

Betty Holbrook referred to application 12/00145/FUL (Bernards site) and raised concerns about the insufficient parking allowed in the original application, a problem that has since worsened. She added that pressure was needed to address the derelict site and referred to broken windows imparticular.

P087/11 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Town Planning meeting held on 15th February 2012 (previously circulated) be approved by the Committee and signed by the Chairman as a true record.

P088/11 PLANNING APPLICATION 12/00038/TCA
Members discussed the previously deferred application and information obtained from TDC Tree Officer. RESOLVED: to bring to Tree Officer’s attention that it was fault in TDC’s paperwork and as such the timeframe for comments should’ve been extended and it was fortunate that it wasn’t a really important issue.

P089/11 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending
10th February, 17th February, 24th February and 2nd March.
RESOLVED: Recommendations in Appendix ‘A’ be submitted to Tendring District Council.

P090/11 MATTERS RECEIVED IN POST
Members noted a Tree Preservation order for the Land adjacent to West End Lane, Dovercourt.

P091/11 DATE OF NEXT MEETING
The next Town Planning meeting will be held at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich, on 28th March 2012 at 6.30pm.

The Chairman closed the meeting at 7.15pm
