Mrs Holbrook asked the Committee to consider the access and egress of the development of houses on the old hospital site, when the planning application is received.
P101/09 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Apologies for absence were received from Councillor B Howlett.
P102/09 DECLARATIONS OF MEMBERS’ INTERESTS
Councillors J Brown, McLeod and Rutson declared they are members of Tendring District Council’s Development and Control Committee. Councillor D Rutson declared an personal interest in Planning Application No. 10/00405/FUL.
P103/09 MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING
RESOLVED: that the minutes of the meeting held on 20th April 2010 (previously circulated) be approved by the Chairman and signed as a true record.
P104/09 SQUIRRELS SITE, DOVERCOURT
Councillor D McLeod reported to the Committee that Squirrels, Lower Marine Parade, had been sold to a local business man for commercial use. It was confirmed that the matter had not been discussed by the Cabinet at Tendring District Council therefore the statement was very premature.
P105/09 PLANNING APPLICATIONS
The Committee considered a schedule of planning applications for weeks ending 16th April, 23rd April and 30th April 2010.
RESOLVED: that the recommendations of Appendix ‘A’ are submitted to Tendring District Council.
P106/09 DATE OF THE NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Town Planning Committee will be held at 6.30pm on 9th June 2010 at the 1912 Centre, Cow Lane, Harwich.
The Chairman closed the meeting at 6.55pm
